1. Who we are

2. What we collect

  • Your email (used to log in with a one-time code) and user name.
  • Where you live, a country you follow, your interests, reading time, delivery time, frequency and language.
  • Anything you add in “Tell us more” (optional).
  • Your feedback on editions.
  • Confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the date you gave consent.

3. Why we use it

Only to choose, summarise and deliver the news in your edition, and to improve the service from your feedback. Legal basis: your consent and providing the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)). Feedback may be studied in combined, anonymous form.

4. Health topics

If you choose Health or mention a health topic, that may be sensitive data (GDPR Art. 9). We use it only with your explicit consent, only to select research news for you, and you can remove it at any time in My edition. We never give medical advice.

5. Who processes it

  • Accounts and storage: Supabase, in an EU data centre.
  • Website hosting: Netlify.
  • Login and edition emails: [EMAIL PROVIDER].
  • Writing your edition: [AI PROVIDER], which receives only the settings needed to build your edition, never your email.

Where a provider processes data outside the EU, transfers are protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

While you receive editions. Use “Delete my data” in My edition, or write to us, and we erase it within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can see and correct your data in My edition, export or delete it, object to its use and withdraw consent at any time. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can also complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
